Battle of the St. Lawrence commemoration
Book now: 1-418-368-9423
The Battle of the St. Lawrence is classified as a ” National Historic Fact. ” The year 2017 marks the 75th anniversary of this still unknown event. Gaspé was directly affected and many still remember the constraints with the life of the population at that time. Several boats were sunk by German submarines, causing several deaths. As the first naval base in Gaspé was established directly on O’Hara Point, we believe that it’s important to organize an event to commemorate this Battle.
